Residential Landscape
Design Across
Southwest Florida
Landscape design is the heart of what I do. Good design in Southwest Florida is about far more than choosing pretty plants. It is about understanding how your home sits on its site, how light and water move across the property, and how the planting will look and feel as it grows in over months and years. As a Florida-Friendly Landscaping™ certified professional and FNGLA member, I design every landscape around what will actually thrive in Florida heat, humidity and seasonal rain, so the result is beautiful on day one and still makes sense long after.
What My Landscape Design Service Includes
I start by understanding how you want your property to look and feel, and how much upkeep you realistically want. From there I plan the structure of the space, the planting layout, the focal points, and the flow from the street to the front door and beyond. I look at curb appeal, at the way the beds frame the architecture, and at how the design will mature. The goal is a landscape that feels intentional and balanced, rather than a collection of impulse buys from three different Saturdays.
Design for Every Kind of Home
I work with both everyday homes and luxury residences. For many properties the answer is not more planting, it is better planting, with cleaner lines and stronger choices. For luxury and estate homes I bring the same attention to detail at a higher level, with refined plant material and a design that suits the standard of the property. Whether you are starting from scratch with a new build or refreshing a tired, dated garden, I design with the long view in mind.
Designing for Seasonal Homes
If you spend part of the year away, I design with that reality built in, choosing plants and layouts that hold their shape and health between visits, and pairing the design with my maintenance and checkup service so the landscape is cared for while you are up north.
From Design to Finished Garden, If You Want It
Design is my main service, and many clients ask me to carry it through to the finished garden. For those who do, I offer installation to bring the design to life and ongoing maintenance for the landscapes I install. You are welcome to take a design on its own and arrange the planting yourself, or to have me see the whole project through from first plan to long term care.
HOA and Community Design Support
I also provide landscape design support for homeowners in managed communities such as Ave Maria and Babcock Ranch, working within community guidelines while still creating something that feels personal and well considered.
Serving Southwest Florida
I provide residential landscape design in Naples, Marco Island, Bonita Springs, Estero, Fort Myers, Cape Coral, Sanibel Island and Ave Maria.
